Cuenca, rich in history!
The place I may never visit again, but would never trade in the time we spent here. Living in the city was the experience I’ll cherish. Living in the house made the trip. It was 100+ years old with authentic colors and construction which I’ll remember forever. Creaking wood floors, slanted stairs and beautiful doors made us want to ship this house home.
The weather in this place, near the equator, but high up in the mountains was a challenge to get use to (especially when exercising), but all added to the experience of something new and different. The people were incredible, and many things made me feel very grateful for what I get to experience as an American.
