Malaga

When we got to Malaga, I was still a little unsure of how I was ever going to survive this trip. The culture shock had set in and the realization that everything and everyone I knew and loved were now a long plane ride away and hours behind in time zones.  However, Matt kept me calm and helped me focus on all the positive things we were experiencing.  The month that we were there, I grew to love the city. I loved the beautiful streets of stores and restaurants. I loved the port where we would walk to see military and cruise ships pull in while we were eating at restaurants and enjoying the breezes off the water.  It was a big accomplishment for me to walk to the store and run the streets of such a large, foreign city by myself.  I feel like I may have grown my wings here in Malaga and for that I will be forever grateful.
